Roster of Company D 150^TH Machine Gun Battalion during World War I

The 150^TH Machine Gun Battalion’s Company D was originally Company I of the 4^TH Pennsylvania Infantry when the Pennsylvania National Guard was mobilized for WWI on 15 July 1917. Co. I was organized in Reading, PA, on 8 June 1898, during the Spanish-American War. Co. I was mobilized for the Mexican Border Crisis on 22 June 1916. On or about 23 Aug. 1917, Co. I was redesignated as Company A, 149^TH Machine Gun Battalion, 42^D ‘Rainbow’ Infantry Division. On 26 March 1918, the unit was redesignated as Company D, 150^TH Machine Gun Battalion, also of the 42^D ‘Rainbow’ Division.
