Roster of Company D 150TH Machine Gun Battalion during World War I

The 150TH Machine Gun Battalion’s Company D was originally Company I of the 4TH Pennsylvania Infantry when the Pennsylvania National Guard was mobilized for WWI on 15 July 1917. Co. I was organized in Reading, PA, on 8 June 1898, during the Spanish-American War. Co. I was mobilized for the Mexican Border Crisis on 22 June 1916. On or about 23 Aug. 1917, Co. I was redesignated as Company A, 149TH Machine Gun Battalion, 42D ‘Rainbow’ Infantry Division. On 26 March 1918, the unit was redesignated as Company D, 150TH Machine Gun Battalion, also of the 42D ‘Rainbow’ Division.
